I'm curious to see what people say about Blu-Ray. I have a nice TV, and would like the better image quality that Blu-Ray has compared to DVD, but am not sure I like it enough to want to pay for a format that seems destined to be obsolete in the nearish future. Netflix streaming often has HD (or almost) quality.

I don't have a lot of data to backup, but if I did, then that seems like possibly a good reason to get a Blu-Ray burner.
