Such a choice
If I leave the door open in my office (where I am right now), it's way too noisy with hammering, sawing, and unidentified noises.
If I close the door, it gets too warm very quickly.
It's rather chilly to leave the door closed and open a window, but that's what I'm currently trying. I'm not sure it's possible to titrate the window height usefully, though.
