A couple cans o'soup in the cupboard are always a good idea, but if I were in town, I'd leave an order of hot pot soup from Saigon Uptown at your front door. (And tell you it was there.)

They don't deliver, as far as I know, but their hot pot soup saw me through many a cold/flu/agony/crud in my Minnesota years. Yes, they'll package it to go. It's in their best interest, as it gets the germs out of their restaurant all the faster.

(They package the steamed veggies separately so they don't get soggy on the way home. At least, they did 10 years ago...and 20 years ago...and more. There's enough for 2 large bowls, or at least 3 medium-sized servings.)

I'm sure there's bunches of great pho available, and it would likely do the trick, too. It's not just penicillin for the Asian Jewish population. :-)
