It's got actual writing! And not many flashy special effects. Waay better than Timeless and without the Hollywood rent-a-costume of the week.

If you like police procedurals that are, err, a bit dark, Happy Valley is really great. (I confess I hadta use subtitles though.) I liked season 2 a wee bit more than season 1.
