AKICILJ: iPad Dropbox?

I discovered the hard way (by being without access) that Dropbox doesn't actually copy files to the iPad -- it just makes them accessible via wifi or whatever.

Wifi access aboard ship is way too pricy ($.55/minute at the cheapest), so when we hit Juneau tomorrow and I visit a Starbucks or whatever, does anyone know how I offload the files onto iPad hard storage? If it matters, they're mostly Word files, plus one PDF.

May I suggest purchasing Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad? It can connect to Drop Box and you can copy files from Drop Box to the local Quickoffice directory. Plus it has tons of other great uses, such as the ability to view and edit MS Office documents. Yes, it costs $9.99. That's be well worth it for me.
