I don't believe this

I'm running a fever again. Just in time for the weekend.

Is this the way flu is supposed to behave?

I haven't had it for years, but I have a vague recollection that yeah, symptoms can come and go for about two weeks. In my case, I'd feel much improved during the day and tear around doing stuff, and then BAM, the fever would come back in the evening and I'd feel awful. One might think that tearing around and doing stuff would be contraindicated, but I went on doing it, I'm afraid. I hope I didn't infect a lot of people.

I hope you feel really better soon.

Hacking cough+ fever sounds like the last vestiges of flu have possibly turned into a bronchial infection.

ETA: a bacterial infection, that is, rather than a viral one
