That was well done, but now I need fluff

A few months ago, Showtime had a "free weekend" for DirecTV customers to try to entice people to sign up. They didn't entice me, but I did go through the listings and record a few promising-looking movies on my TiVo. I watched a couple of them right away, but Hotel Rwanda and Crash sat there waiting. And waiting.

However, yesterday I caught up on both my Netflix and TiVo queues, and since Lydy took away the DVDs of season 5 Angel, I had no good excuse left. (Bad excuses are easy, but I did want to see the movie eventually. Or, more precisely, I wanted to have seen it.)

It was just about as wrenching as I though it would be, though the actual process of how the main character pulled off what he did was quite interesting.

And now I want something amusing and fluffy to watch. I strongly suspect Crash doesn't qualify.

Well, I should have part 3 of Shogun by tomorrow. That doesn't quite qualify, either, but having read the book a zillion times, at least I expect no nasty surprises.

Is great in Crash. Lottsa good acting. But not fluffy.
