carose59. Only the first or second time I've ever been tagged, I think.

1. What are your online user names?
I'm
carbonel both here and on the Delphi trivia forum, where I originally started using it. I use Jan Levine for fanfic and a couple of online mailing lists.
2. Dogs, cats, or something else?
Cats for me. Other people can have their dogs, as long as they don't jump on me and lick my face.
3. What's new in your life right now?
I'm in a bout of home decorating. Just had the downstairs carpeted, and now the living room is having a wood floor put in. Also, I'm about to acquire a housemate for the indefinite future.
4. How many colors are you wearing right now?
Beige pants and slate-gray long-sleeved T-shirt with a Celtic design on it in white and black and green. Usually I prefer more colorful combinations, but I love this Celtic shirt.
5. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Introvert, no question.
6. What was the last book you read?
Just finished a reread of Little Fuzzy this morning. I've been reading (or in some cases rereading) Amanda Cross aka Carolyn Heilbrun's Kate Fansler books, but I don't have any of them after Sweet Death, Kind Death, so I need to borrow them from
pameladean.
7. Do you nap a lot?
Very seldom. Once in a while I'll take a nap in the evening or during a weekend afternoon, but it tends to mess up my sleep schedules, and I've been having problems with insomnia as it is.
8. If you had one night of passion with someone in the public eye of whom you're a fan, who would you like it to be?
I can't think of anyone that I'm passionate about that way. Though if we're talking pure shallowness, I suppose Mark Harmon or Susan Sarandon or Melissa Leo. David Birney used to be my exemplar for male pulchritude, but that was long ago, and I expect we've both changed.
9. Is there anything that has made you happy these days?
Reading the Yuletide stories for this year. Also contemplating the fact that someday my house will be something I'll be happy to have parties in, which ignores the current "too much stuff" issue.
10. What's your current obsession?
Watching Criminal Minds and trying to make progress on the four-star movie list -- I'm currently up to the letter L (L'Age D'Or). Also knitting and spinning. Luckily, these activities all dovetail nicely.
11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
About 15 minutes. Get up, wash self and brush teeth, throw on clothes. Working at home simplifies things enormously.
12. What websites do you visit regularly?
LJ, of course. epguides.com. http://www.contesthound.com/crosswords.php3
13. Do you write fic? What was the last fic you wrote?
Not really, though I've done a couple of collaborative pieces. The last was an epistolary Pros story several years ago. I mostly edit.
14. What's the last thing you laughed about?
"Norm Coleman: Beaten by a wrestler, beat a dead guy, tied a comedian." There have actually been other things since then, but that's the one I remember.
15. What's the last song that got stuck in your head?
Lemon Jelly's Nice Weather for Ducks. Damn him.
16. What's the last movie you saw?
Britannia Hospital, the final movie of the Lindsay Anderson trilogy. I can't really recommend it; If... and O Lucky Man! are much better.
17. Would you enter into a relationship with your ideal partner, even if you knew he/she was seriously involved with/married to someone else and would never leave them?
Yes, as long as everyone knew what was going on. I'm fine with polyamory, but not with secrecy.
17p. Would you say that the expression "there is a chair for every ass" is correct?
No. I'd never heard the expression, and I don't think people match up in pairs that way.
18. What is your favorite chocolate from a box of chocolates?
Dark chocolate truffles (assuming a high-end box of chocolates). Dark chocolate caramels, otherwise.
18b. What is your favorite nut?
Cashews, though pistachios and macadamia nuts are close behind.
