Ready for people to show up
Dec. 24th, 2010 03:41 pmMore or less. I have lots of food, but the house could definitely use more straightening. (It's clean, thanks to Cottage Care, but I'm suffering the usual curse of Too Much Stuff.) At the moment, I'm worrying that no one's actually going to come over tomorrow.
But there is Woodchuck cider, so if no one does show, I'll be able to drown my sorrows with something I like.
Currently feeling a bit melancholy, which is silly, because normally I do very well as a solitary type. I have the day off, and lots of stuff on the DVR to watch, and an open house tomorrow (if anyone comes), and plans for a nice dinner out on Sunday, and Yuletide stories tonight in less than eight hours. Time to go watch an episode of Castle -- fluff with good dialogue is always a fine idea.
Happy Winter Shopping Holiday of your choice to everyone.
