AKICILJ: Calendars
Jan. 20th, 2011 12:52 pmI was in the process of entering something in my desktop calendar when I realized that this was the Palm Desktop calendar, and I'm no longer using my Palm Treo; I'm now using a hand-me-down iPhone 3. So I need a new calendar program for my desktop, since I assume the iPhone doesn't want to talk to the Palm Desktop.
I'm a Windows user, but I've only used Outlook for business purposes (with Exchange), so I don't have any strong incentive to switch from Palm Desktop to Outlook if there's something else that people recommend. And I very much don't want to use Outlook for e-mail, if that matters. I'm not even sure if it's possible to set up a new profile in Outlook without associating it with an e-mail address.
I have an iPad as well, so I want something that will work with that also, but I assume that's trivial.
I also need a contacts manager, I guess; in the Palm Desktop, they're integrated, but on the iPhone and iPad, the calendar and contacts manager are two separate apps. Or I need something that combines both.
Comments or suggestions welcome.
