Go, Cubs, go!
Oct. 13th, 2015 11:12 pmThe Cubs won their National League Division series against the Cardinals. They lost the first game, then won the next three -- mostly by hitting a lot of home runs, plus some sparkling defensive play.
Tonight's final game at Wrigley Field was the first time ever that they clinched a playoff series at home. That's partly because of the paucity of playoff opportunities, of course, but there's a certain amount of bad luck as well.
It was great to see everyone celebrating at Wrigley Field, even if I had to do it via television from 400 miles away. I was laughing and cheering and dancing, too.
Now on to the National League Championship Series, starting on Saturday.
