I haven't had anything where I've had to measure exactly, because for that I'd use the powdered sweetener. But I'd guesstimate that it's about a one teaspoon to one teaspoon correspondence.
What I find it really useful for is sweetening tea (the powdered stuff has much more aftertaste for some reason) and for cooking when I just want a bit more sweetness and I don't have to worry about powder dissolving (or not) or clumping.
I now have six and a half lazy daisy clusters left -- probably another evening's work to go. The nice thing about cross-stitch is that as long as you keep slogging at it, you will make progress.
