Or maybe I have too much life.

I also, alas, have no message. I was mostly through writing a long message about my weekend, when the "you have mail" sound sounded. It was a bit of Hebrew spam, and in trying to read it, I clicked on it. It was a link, and taking me to that link lost what I'd already typed. So here's the short version of what I did this weekend.

Went jogging with Pat.
Edited.
Went to the Minn-stf meeting at Laura Jean's.
Edited.
Had dinner at Midori's Floating World.
Edited.
Watched some TV.
Edited.
Slept.
Got up.
Edited.
Went to the Minicon meeting where I proofed the Program Book (along with others). Just for a change, you understand.
Went home.
Edited.
Sent off the chapter I'd been editing all weekend.
Watched some TV.
Edited.
Updated LiveJournal.
And now, I think I'll edit some more.

Everyone learns sooner or later: never write your posts in the browser window. Write them in a text editor, and then cut and paste.

The other reason not to write your LJ posts in the browser -- LJ slows dwon the data entry so even as I am typing this, I have typed a whole sentence but only the first few words have appeared. On some days, when I am inspired, I find myself at the end of the message and realize the cache has overflowed and my brilliant thoughts have vanished.

Anyone know of a good LJ client they can recommend?

For Windows, I really like Semagic ([livejournal.com profile] ljwin32_sema). It's fabulous. Can't imagine not doing LJ with a client at this point.

I'm torn between immense gratitude for the proofing/copyediting you performed on the Program Book, and mild annoyance that my scheme to not bother you with any proofing requests was so easily undone.

Gratitude wins.

Please do take care of yourself, though.
