Are they back to letting all players keep their winnings? Shazbot! When I was on, only the first-place person got to keep the cash. Second- and third-place money was a scorekeeping device and we only got parting gifts.

A couple of years ago they changed things so second place gets $2,000 and third place gets $1,000. Not as nice as keeping your winnings no matter the place, but enough to cover the trip, at least.

But by "actual winnings" I meant if I had to stay for a second day -- in which case having my return flight paid for would be a pleasant but minor addition.
