I'm attempting to make blueberry sorbet, and I found a recipe on the web that looked pretty simple (this one). When I printed out the recipe, it came out in teeny type, even though it's readable on the website.

I only had enough blueberries to make half a recipe, so I pureed the blueberries with a half-cup of water and a half-tablespoon of lemon juice. Oops! Supposed to be half a cup for the entire recipe.

Then I strained the berry mixture and got ready to heat it, then looked at the recipe again. Oops! I was supposed to heat it with the sugar, then strain it.

I wonder how it'll turn out after all that. Also, does anyone know if there's anything one can do with the half-cup or so of blueberry seeds and peel that's left after the liquidy bits are strained out? Right now it's the consistency of good applesauce (not the runny stuff), but I'm hoping to get a few more tablespoons of strained stuff out of it.
