Back from the vet

Morwen is back home. She's a little wobbly, but a lot less than I would be (I imagine) after an intubation, anesthesia, and hysterectomy. Random keeps sniffing her butt, but seems to be okay with everything. The vet warned that there might be some hostility on his part because of the foreign smells, and I should keep them separated if so (because Morwen wouldn't be in any state to defend herself), but it seems to be okay -- which is a good thing, since it means I don't have to improvise a second catbox.
Morwen's belly does look awfully sad; since her skin is light and her hair is black, there's more contrast than I remember with Pyewacket. She's supposed to have the stitches out in seven to ten days. My guess (based on previous cats) is that she'll chew them all out herself by then, but if not, I'll probably do it myself if the incision is clean and dry.
Now I need to make an appointment for Random.
