Light One Candle

For Mary Travers of Peter, Paul, and Mary.

I was going to post the vid of "Light One Candle" with the children lighting the candles, but I can't seem to find it on YouTube. So instead, here's Mary Travers in a solo version of "And When I Die," and then PP&M singing "A'Soalin'" -- which Mary only sings harmony on, but it's one of my favorites.

Peter, Paul and Mary and Judy Collins were my very favorite folk musicians when I was growing up, and I never really outgrew them.

That first one is really poignant, isn't it. I've been listening to a lot of their stuff today. So sad. She'll be missed.

I hadn't heard.....A soaling was always one of my favorites
