Yesterday I was playing bar trivia, and there was a question about what more common food was comparable to bagna cauda. I said "fondue" before the options showed up, and sure enough, it was up there, so we got full points (the point count decreases as time goes by).

Someone asked me how I knew that. Usually, it's just that I remember reading it somewhere, but this time I realized I knew the exact source. "Babylon 5," I said.

Since then, I've had the bagna cauda lsanderson makes, and it's quite tasty. But B5 was my first introduction.
