Thank you - I suppose that while having the root canal was not exactly fun, it does offer hope that the situation will now improve!

Rather like eating a live toad first thing in the morning?

I recently had two crowns put in, plus a couple of fillings, so I sympathize. The most annoying thing (which happened, oh, at least 20 years ago, is to have a crown put in and then need a root canal. Drilling into a perfectly good crown to get at the bad nerve offended all my sensibilities, for some reason.
