There was a recent Jeopardy! question about the TV show Picket Fences that made it sound intriguing, as did the Wikipedia entry about it.

Anyone have opinions about it? I have several things ahead of it in the mental queue, but I'd be curious as to whether people think it's worth the time.

I enjoyed it for a while. It's a David Kelly series, which means it was all about the "quirky" characters. They are oftentimes charming, but the "quirky" sometimes goes overboard. YMMV.

I enjoyed S1 of Picket Fences, with a few caveats. (Mostly: after a few episodes, whenever one of the two main "parent" characters says something like, "I like to think of myself as a liberal person" or, "I like to think I'm open-minded," I shouted at the TV, "No one else thinks of you that way!") None of the other seasons are available on DVD because of problems with the music rights, and last I checked, their availability online is highly spotty, so any arc plot is going to be patchy or go completely missing.

I remember really enjoying it, but I have never seen it as an adult.

I remember really enjoying it, but I can't remember much about it now.
