You call this snow?
Mar. 27th, 2003 10:30 pmThis morning, they were predicting between four and ten inches of snow. This afternoon, it made an impressive start, with clumps falling out of the sky, then moderating to good-sized flakes. But by mid-evening, there was about a half-inch of slush on the ground, and more slush falling out of the sky.
I suppose it might look more impressive by the time it's done tomorrow morning, but I doubt it.
In the meantime, I have been moderately productive this evening -- I took half the proposed panel titles for Minicon (Lydy took the other half) and wrote descriptions for them. This weekend we're planning on sending out panel invitations to the authors. Way late, even if Minicon is late this year, but we're running as fast as we can. I'm feeling panicky about the whole thing, but I think we can do it. I hope we can. And I'm not doing this next year, whatever happens.
