Weather query

The sirens are going off and on (mostly on).

Is there some website where I can find out what they're going off for? The siren is an awfully low medium as far as informational density goes.

Pretty impressive out there

The rain is coming down in buckets, and hail is clanking all over the place. The lights keep flickering, and my DSL has blinked off a couple of times, but both keep coming back. I'm glad I have a UPS, though it hasn't beeped at me yet.

Weather.com claims it's a severe thunderstorm watch, and there's no mention of tornado activity, so I guess it's safe to keep working up here.
