Feb. 6th, 2009 11:15 amApparently it is utterly impossible to find a piece of oak board that's somewhere between 5/16" and 9/16" depth, six or so inches wide, and 64 inches long. In this city, at least.
Instead, Rick is going to have to make do with two pieces butted side-by-side, but upside down to each other, so the grain will be all wonky, because one edge is beveled and the other isn't.
I wonder if Greg Cotton could do better.
