UK Harry Potter available
Jul. 21st, 2005 02:28 pmFor various complicated reasons, I bought a copy each of the UK regular version and the adult version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but I only want the children's copy. The contents are the same; it's just the cover that differs. I don't know how much the UK and U.S. versions differ in this book; they were quite divergent in the beginning, and still have some differences in later ones. The adult copy has a very nice cover; if I didn't want a matching set, I'd prefer that one.
I paid 14 pounds per book (including postage), which comes to $25, according to my trusty currency converter site. This is less than the U.S. cover price, though of course most places are discounting it to less than that.
Anyone interested?
P.S. This is mostly intended for Minneapolis/St. Paul people, so postage isn't an issue, but I'd be willing to send it at media mail rates if someone out of town wants it -- probably another $2.50 or so.

Date: 2005-07-21 10:33 pm (UTC)It appears that I need to acquire and read the book quickly, as it's becoming very difficult to avoid spoilers...
