Whoever posted this to her LJ recently, I really wish you hadn't. I've got it stuck as an earworm now.

"All the ducks are swimming in the water..."

"Rump-titty-titty-tum-tah-tee"

"Punch, brother, punch with care..."

"Tenser, said the Tensor..."

What earworms have afflicted you lately?

The one in my lj yesterday.

The lamu-lorays song from the Grinch.

Approximately every song used in the soundtrack to Long Kiss Goodnight.

I flixed Tiny Toons, and hadn't heard the theme song in a while. Now it's running through my head.

"... and here's Acme Acres it's a whole wide world apart
our home sweet home it stands alone
a cartoon work of art!..."

God knows why, but I've had "He'll Have to Go," going through my head for the last four or five days. Which is bad enough, but it's one of those songs that can make me cry. I don't need an internal songtrack that makes me cry!

You'll despise me forever. You'll find it (in my experience) infesting your mind.

Found myself humming something that I could *not* identify, and could only remember a snippet of the lyrics. Finally occurred to me that the reason I couldn't find it online was that it was probably a filk, but all my filk books are still packed away. Sent an SOS to [livejournal.com profile] markbernstein, who came through with the lyrics to "Hungover Barbarian." The minute I read through the lyrics once, the song was immediately back in my brain fully formed.
